Jim is a leadership development specialist who also works as a trainer, coach, mediator, and conflict resolution expert. He focuses on training adult learners in communication skills, leadership development, and conflict resolution techniques. Jim works with teams to help them manage conflicts effectively through team building solutions and mediation, if required. He has worked in various sectors, including retail, manufacturing, government, and higher education.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Liberal & Business Studies from Simon Fraser University and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Royal Roads University. In 2008, he graduated from the Justice Institute, earning his Certificate in Conflict Resolution, specializing in both mediation and negotiation. Jim is also an instructor and coach for the Justice Institute's schools of leadership and conflict resolution. He is committed to helping organizations navigate through the often difficult process of change.
